In this post, you will learn what waxing is, how waxing is done, and its pros and cons over shaving and the use of depilatory creams.
What is waxing?
Waxing is definitely one of the most interesting and easiest methods for removing unwanted hair. It is fast and hygienic. During the procedure, soft warm wax is applied thinly to the body hair.
A paper strip is then applied and pressed firmly adhering to the wax, and the wax to the skin. The strip is then quickly ripped against the direction of hair growth. This removes the hair from the follicle.
Almost any area of the body can be waxed including eyebrows, face, legs, arms, abdomen, back, and the pubic area.
Other common methods of hair removal
Shaving creams use strong chemical ingredients to weaken the hair structure to the extent that they can be wiped away. Shaving trims the hair with a razor or electric shavers.
In this video, you will see how it is done. I am using sugar paste to wax the underarms but the process is very similar for all body parts.
